Pine Mountain 40 Mile Trail Race

You can now register for the Pine Mountain 40 on December 7, 2008. The race will be held in the beautiful FDR State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia. First timers to the Pine Mountain Trail are always surprised at the terrain. News flash: south Georgia is not flat! Ok, our definition of “mountain” may be different from, say, someone’s in Colorado But still, we have some nice hills in this race, and a lot of rocks! This one is definitely an ankle turner, so train accordingly!

A portion of the proceeds from the race will go to the Pine Mountain Trail Association. These folks are responsible for maintaining the trail system within the FDR State Park, and they do an awesome job!
